How do I upload photos? We encourage members to upload photos.  Other users tend to trust a profile which contains (at least) a main photo. To upload a photo go to ‘my gallery’ either through ‘my profile’ or the side bar on the ‘home page’.  You have 3 options: to set as main profile picture, secondary gallery photo or a private photo which can be sent with messages.

How do I update profile info/details? If you click on the ‘my profile’ link this will take you to the edit page.  Here you can edit your details or add further info on the ‘my profile’ and ‘info’ tabs.

How do I send a message? You can find the ‘send message’ button on a members profile or simply reply to a received message.  Your messages come in a cascade format so you can keep track of you conversations.

How do I report abuse? We have a policy of respect on pairtree.  We do not tolerate any form of abuse.  If you receive an abuse message there is a ‘report abuse’ button at the bottom of message.  Press this button and we will look into it and take appropriate action.

I’m receiving messages from someone who I am not interested in, help!? There is a block button on every profile if you click this the user will not be able to view your profile or message you.

How do I ‘break the ice’ without sending a message? You can use the ‘smile’ button on profile page.  This sends a smiles to the user to show interest.

How do I perform an advanced search? If you click on the search tab or advanced search link this will take you to advanced search page.  If you then click ‘show more options’ this will open an array of further search options.
